Home/RV, boat & motorcycle
RVs, boats & motorcyclesOut at the marina, the Bull River, the Savannah River boat ramps, or pulling an RV down I-95? We handle RVs, motorhomes, fifth-wheels, ski boats, jet-skis, and motorcycles — keys, ignitions and lockouts that most general locksmiths won't touch.
Most general locksmiths don't touch RVs, boats or motorcycles — different lock types, different ignitions, different tools. We do. We work with RV door locks (the old "CH751" wafer locks and the newer keyed-alike systems), motorhome ignitions, boat ignition switches, marine deck box locks, jet-ski keys, and motorcycle ignitions for most makes.
The two big jobs we get on RVs are door lockouts at the campground and rekeying after a sale. The original RV door locks are notorious for sharing keys across rigs — a single key cut to a popular code can open a row of trailers. If you've just bought a used RV, get the locks rekeyed or replaced before your first trip.
Boats are mostly ignition switches and dock locks. We service Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Suzuki and most outboard ignitions. For inboards we handle most of the common Indmar and Volvo Penta switches. Marine environments are hard on key cylinders — salt, sun, sand — so a stuck or worn ignition is normal after a few seasons.
Motorcycle keys for most domestic and Asian makes are something we can do at your location. Harley keys are simple. Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki — all fine. Some European bikes need transponder programming similar to cars, and a few require dealer-only tools.

We focus on one specific slice of Chatham and Effingham county — the Highway 21 corridor, the five cities around the Port of Savannah, and the communities sitting next to them. That focus matters. We know which subdivisions have Cluster Box Units (CBUs) versus individual mailboxes. We know that the doors at Sanctuary Cove tend to have Schlage in a specific finish. We know which businesses on Pooler Parkway open early and which ones don't unlock until after 10 AM. When you call, you get a locksmith who already knows your area — not a dispatch center routing you to whoever picks up.
We program transponder keys, smart keys and proximity remotes for most domestic, European and Asian vehicles. Tell us the year, make and model when you call so we bring the right blanks and programming gear.
Tell us what happened, where you are, and what hardware is involved. We explain the work and give you a time window.
For lockouts we confirm photo ID and proof of ownership or location. For installs we confirm the door type and what you want.
A technician arrives in our service vehicle with the parts, blanks and programming gear most jobs need.
You see the work tested in front of you. You pay only for what was agreed before we started.
Before we arrive, take a clear photo of your driver's license and have a second photo of your registration, lease, deed, or rental agreement ready. Having both ready cuts the visit time roughly in half and protects you from someone calling a locksmith on a property that isn't theirs.
Locksmith work depends on a few honest factors: the type of lock or vehicle, distance to the job, and any parts that need to be supplied. We handle evening calls the same as daytime calls during our regular hours — 9 PM is treated the same as 9 AM. We explain what's involved when you call so you know what to expect, and we never start work without your go-ahead.
We work daily across these neighborhoods and ZIP codes, plus everything in between:
